I always dreamed of moving up in my career, but I never expected it to happen like this. I recently received a sudden offer to become a department head at another branch—triple the salary, a relocation package, and work aligned with my interests. I've always been close to these people—we've pulled all-nighters, covered for each other, and celebrated milestones together. I know their families, and I even helped hire a few of them.
